Biblical Monotheism can be summarized by the following points, the Father alone is Almighty God, the Jehovah of the Old Testament (John 17:3; Heb. 1:1-2). Jesus Christ is the Logos, the firstborn of all creation, the Son of God who existed in heaven and came to earth as a perfect man (John 1:1, 14; 17:5; Col. 1:15).[b]
